Montana Bass is an electronic music project focused on nostalgic, emotional bass music that blends old-school dubstep influence with cinematic atmosphere and modern low-end weight. The sound is driven by deep sub-bass, melancholic melodies, and textured environments inspired by winter landscapes, analog media, and introspective moments.

The music is designed to feel immersive and timeless rather than trend-driven — balancing heavy bass with mood, space, and emotion. Montana Bass bridges the gap between late-night festival energy and cinematic listening, creating sets and releases that feel personal, powerful, and atmospheric.

In 2025, a Montana Bass remix of “Stars Tonight” was played by Zeds Dead during their Deadrocks set, marking a major milestone and recognition within the bass music community.

NostAlgia Vision

Nostalgia Vision is the visual extension of Montana Bass — a fully realized audio-visual concept built around memory, analog aesthetics, and emotional atmosphere. The project uses distorted VHS textures, CRT artifacts, grain, light bleed, and retro-futuristic imagery to create a visual experience that feels familiar yet unsettling, like remembering a dream from childhood.

Rather than flashy visuals, Nostalgia Vision focuses on mood and feeling — enhancing the emotional impact of the music and pulling the audience deeper into the experience.

Montana Bass at Moonwalk Festival

ZEDS DEAD PLAYING MY REMIX AT DEADROCKS 2025

In 2025, Zeds Dead played the Montana Bass remix of “Stars Tonight” during their annual Deadrocks event at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Hearing that a personal remix of a track by such a major influence had made its way into their set at their flagship event was an incredibly meaningful milestone.

More than just an exciting moment, it provided a new level of confidence in the music and creative direction behind Montana Bass — knowing that something created independently resonated enough to be played on a stage that had been an inspiration for years.

Montana Bass Beat Lab Radio — Guest Mix

I was invited to contribute a guest mix for Beat Lab Radio, a notable mix platform within the bass music community. The mix showcased the Montana Bass sound and vision through a blend of bass music and recognizable nostalgic movie samples, creating a cinematic listening experience centered around memory and nostalgia. The opportunity was an honor and an early chance to fully showcase the creative direction that continues to define the project.
